Jim can also be seen playing the part of Laura Dern's brother in the movie "Citizen Ruth" that was released in 1996. He is currently the TV spokesman for Paul Gerber Auto Sales.
         Whether singing the beautiful ballad "Unforgettable" or belting out a sizzling duet of "Love Shack", Pam and Jim are equally adept at enthralling  their audience.
          The Instrumental accompaniment consists of guitar, Keyboards, saxophone / flute / clarinet , bass and drums.  Co leader and arranger  Ron Cooley is featured on the guitar. Ron is one of Omaha's busiest musicians. In addition to his work with Pam and the Pearls, Ron performs every Christmas season as a member of the nationally acclaimed group Mannheim Steamroller. In the last nine years he has toured throughout the USA and Germany and appeared on the NBC's "TODAY" show as well as Jay Leno's "TONIGHT SHOW" and ABC's "GOOD MORNING AMERICA".
Ron has recorded six solo projects of his own, four on the American Gramaphone label and two on his own label, Nebraska Sky. He has also received gold and platinum records for his work on the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas recordings. Ron has also performed on the White House lawn for President Clinton's Tree Lighting Ceremony and with C.W. McCall at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.           Dennis Strawn is the multitalented reed player in the band. Dennis is a master of the lyrical soprano sax styling of Kenny "G" and the pulsating blues alto style of David Sanborn. Dennis also plays flute and clarinet on quite few of the band's arrangements. Before joining Pam and the Pearls 12 years ago, Dennis was touring as the lead alto saxophonist and clarinetist with the World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra. He also has performed Mel Torme, Frank Sinatra Jr., Billy Eckstine, The Ink Spots, Theresa Brewer and was featured
